This beet feta twisted heart bread is a soft, tender, and vibrant pull apart bread with the perfect balance of earthy beets with tangy cheese and aromatic herbs. This is best to serve for any festive occassion, like Valentine's Day!

    About this bread

You should make this beet feta twisted heart bread because it's equal parts delicious, beautiful, and fun to bake. The vibrant color and the shape make the day exra special showing your love. It's worth it!

Shaping bread is always fun as it unleashes creativity inside you. I love shaping bread and this Peacocok Shaped Pizza Bread is a 3-D bread which was superfun.

Flavor wise, this bread is spot on! The salty, tangy feta balances that sweetness and earthyness of the beets, perfectly, making every bite rich and savory. So comforting!

It is an impressive centerpiece! Trust me, everyone will left speechless, but they are going to be busy pulling it apart and munching it down! Whether you're baking for brunch, a celebration, a dinner gathering, or just to treat yourself, this homemade bread is the best!

it is incredibly easy to make and versatile too. You can serve it warm with butter or olive oil, or pair it with soups and salads, or enjoy it on its own as a snack.

    Ingredients

To make this tender and vibrant beet feta twisted heart pull apart bread, you will need the following ingredients:

All purpose flour - gives structure to the bread

Roasted beet puree - adds antioxidants and a vibrant color to the bread.

    Salt - gives flavor

Sugar - to activate the yeast instantly

Milk - adds to the softness of the bread

Butter - adds tenderness and flavor to the bread

Instant yeast - gives structure and leavens the bread. Instead of instant yeast, use active dry yeast but make sure to activate and use it in the recipe.

Cheese - cream cheese, tangy feta, and mozzarella give the addictive cheesy flovor to the filling. As thios recipe uses feta in brine, make sure to skip addig salt to your filling or add based on your needs.

Herbs - Dill and curly parsley pairs well with the cheese and beets

Garlic -adds characteristic flavor to the bread

Black pepper and chili flakes - use as needed to give that spicy kick.

    Serving Suggestions

This bread is best for Valentine's Day menu. Or make this for your loved ones any day and make the day the best and extra memorable!

This beet feta twisted heart bread is great as such. And best when warm. It is filled with garlicky cheesy goodness. It is perfect to serve with simple tzatziki. my kids love it with ranch too. You can pair with your favorite sauce.

    Storage

This bread has cheese and this recipe makes two hearts. Though it is possible that the bread will be gone quickly, depending on your family size, you have some extra.

If I am not using it in the next couple of hours, I prefer to store this in the refrigerator and it stays well for 4-5 days. I warm the bread in oven and serve. You can also try freezing it.
