    "Date" Oats Vegan Heart Cookies

This "Date" and Oats cookies is the perfect and apt cookie, indeed a breakfast cookie for Valentine's Day! This healthy cookie is made with nuts, oats, and sweetened with dates and maple syrup. This vegan cookie is great to go as a snack too and is a perfect one to add to Valentine sweet treat board.
This is a great one and a very healthy one to feature in any treat boards. This cookie is sweetened with lotas of dates and a little maple syrup. So this is a very healthy cookie if you are looking to lower using sugar for sweetening. Dates also adds to micronutrient as it is very good source of iron. This will make this cookie a very healthy choice for kids as well as adults.

Oats is another main ingredient of the cookie. Oats is heart healthy grain which is a great option for daily intake. In fact, I love to start my morning with a bowl of oastmeal. Sometimes, you need on the go breakfast and this cookie will be an amazing breakfast cookie loaded with oats, nuts, and dates. Make the cookie in bigger size for sizeable breakfast cookie. If made in smaller size, you may need a few of these!

Whether you make for every day breakfast, snack, or for special event entertaining, this cookie sure is a winner! Easy to make and healthy too. There is no need for butter as the nuts added are a good source of essential fats. They also give proteins and micronutrients too.
Like I said before, to make this cookie, just process everything in your blender, shape it as per preference, and bake. These cookies retain the same shape and do not spread. So easy to make more number in the same tray! I made medium soft cookie, if you prefer a crispier one, bake for a couple more minutes. We love a soft and chewy one! A little coconut oil is need to apply on your palms if you want to shape them in creative ways.

We are sharing Valentine Special recipes in our Foodie Monday Blog Hop group. Valentine's Day is right around the corner and these heart healthy cookies/breakfast cookies make a perfect and healthy choice for the special day! They are great for any day though! I am also linking this to Inspire Me Monday, Sundays on Silverado, Happiness is Homemade, What's For Dinner, and Share The Wealth.
