This easy cinnamon roll apple monkey bread brings the comforting flavors of warm apple pie and a gooey cinnamon roll all in one bite. This can be your best breakfast, snack or dessert!

About cinnamon roll apple monkey bread

There can be nothing to beat the aroma of warm cinnamon and flavor of aplles in Fall. Now imagine these two combined in a cozy baky that is ultra easy to make with ready to use cinnamon roll dough and a couple of apples from your kitchen counter. In about 30 minutes you will taste the best snack or dessert of the season.

The comforting flavors of cinnamon rolls and apple pie come together beautifully as every piece of the cinnamon roll is coated with buttery cinnamon sugar, apples, nuts, and baked until golden. This bake is rich if flavors and textures.

Did I say that this is a very easy recipe? Yes, with the ready to use cinnamon roll dough cans, you can oull this together in no time. Prep time is so less and doesn't need extra planning time. You can make this even at the last minute.

The pull-apart format makes it especially fun not only for satisfying your fall dessert cravings but also for family breakfasts and brunches. It pairs beautifully with a cup of coffee or masala chai. My personal favorite is with masala chai. The warm spices in both develops immediate magical flavor explosion.

Apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar create that classic cozy-season flavor. Make it yours by adding your favorite nuts, caramel bits etc to make crave worthy dessert.

    Ingredients

To make this cinnamon roll apple monkey bread, you will need the following ingredients:

Cinnamon roll - refrigerated cinnamon roll tubes. This aids in baking a quick snack or dessert for your family or for a crowd.

Apples - Granny Smith apples work the best. They retain the shape. Any apple variety that you can use for pie will work in this recipe too. However you can also use the apples that you might have on hand.

Brown sugar - sweetens the bake.

Butter - for that extra taste!

Cinnamon - adds to the warmth of this fall bake.

Cornstarch - acts as a thickening agent while baking ensuring the juices released are held together creating a decadent monkey bread.

Nuts - You can use pecan or walnuts. They add to the texture as well as provide some nutritional benefits.

Heavy cream - a little of heavy cream enhances the bake with rich flavors!

    Serving Suggestions

I love to serve this warm! That is so comforting. If you want to make it as an extra indulgent dessert, add a scoop of vanilla or dulche de leche icecream with an extra drizzle of caramel. You will bake this often if you try this once.

Not only warm, as a snack, this is great at room temperature too. spoonfuls of this dessert loaded into your mouth when you pass by this tray of cinnamon roll apple monkey bread is extra satisfying.

    Stotage

You can store this bake at room temperature for a day. However, I recommend storing any leftvers in the refrigerator immediately as this enhances the shelflife of the bake. I warm this in the microwave or oven and serve it. You can also warm this in the airfryer too.
