Whether you’re serving it at a party, game day, or movie night, this dip stands out from typical dips. A crowd pleaser.
This vibrant colored dip is customizable. Adjust the spiciness, proteins, or try with vegan cheese for a vegan option! This dip has your back.
Together, this dip hit every taste note — spicy, tangy, salty, creamy, umami — in a way that’s totally addictive!
Ingredients
To make this fusion dip, you will require the following ingredients:
Gochujang and gochugaru - adds sweet heat and depth. Adjust the quantity based on your preference.
Cream cheese and mozarella cheese - gives richness, creaminess, and that melty experience!
Kimchi - brings tang, umami, and a little funk from fermentation.
Vegainnaise/Mayo - Adds a touch of creaminess
Ginger and garlic - Finely minced ginger and garlic adds characteristic Korean flavor to the fusion dip.
Maplesyrup/honey/condensed milk - balances the flavor
Cilantro and green onions - boosts aroma and flavor
Sesame seeds - for garnishing. Adds nutty flavor and texture.
Serving Suggestions
This creamy, funky, sweet and spicy kimchi gochujang dip is perfect to serve with slices of fresh bread, bagel crisps, chips etc. One of our personal favorite is with veggies, especially sweet peppers!
Storage
I store leftovers, if any in the refrigerator for a couple of days. Pop in the warm to warm and serve the ooey gooey dip with bread/veggies etc. Turn the leftovers into grilled cheese or quesedilla too!
