This buffalo cauliflower panner dip is a spicy, creamy, and cheesy fusion dip combining the bright and bold flavors of the classic buffalo sauce with nutritious cauliflower and paneer.
Why this buffalo cauliflower paneer dip?
This flavorful twist is SO delicious! Plus it is rich in texture. The cauliflower florets add to the healthy twist and give a texture. It also reduces the calories and you may make it with more cauliflower too.
While the creamy panner adds to the richness, the combination of cauliflower, paneer in a creamy base with a spicy kick is beyond description. This combination makes it more nutritious.
This is also verstaile to serve with many options like veggies, chips, or even with potato wedges. Did I tell you that it is customizable? Make it spicy by adding more sauce or make it more cheesy. Sky is the limit to play around.
Having said these, is it possible to pass? NO! gather around this cheesy dip and enjoy the delicious moments.
Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients to make this buffalo cauliflower paneer dip:
Hot sauce - Frank's red hot sauce gives the perfect touch of the popular buffalo flavor. You may adjust the quantity of this sauce to suit your taste preference.
Cream cheese - Creamy base for the dip
Paneer - Adds to the richness as well as proteins and calcium
Cheese - This recipe uses a mix of cheddar and mozarella for this perfect stringy cheese effect. You may use cheddar alone too.
Sour Cream and Greek Yogurt - I prefer to use a mix of Greek yogurt as it adds proteins. You may use sour cream alone too.
Mayo - A little for the perefct consistency.
Salt - Gives flavor
Sugar - to balance the salty and spicy flavors
Oil - To roast the cauliflower
Butter or heavy cream - optional, to balance the spicy flavors.
Herbs - green onions, parsley and cilantro add aroma and flavor. Do not skimp on green onions. You can use parsley or cilantro or both like in this recipe.
Serving Suggestions
I serve these with tortilla chips or veggies. You can serve this dip with pita chips, naan chips etc. Do not forget that slices of crusty bread is awesome with this warm dip!
