The following ingredients will be necessary to make these chocolate peppermint blossoms:
All purpose flour - the base for the cookies
Sugar and brown sugar - sweetens the cookie and gives the perfect chewiness to the cookies
Salt - goves flavor
Cocoa powder - Brings the chocolate flavor to the cookie.
Peppermint dust - for rolling the cookies. This give the light peppermint flavor to the cookie crust.
Peppermint Kisses - these kisses give the sweet peppermint center to the blossom cookies.

Flaxseed powder - this is the egg substitute
Baking powder - Leavening agent in the recipe.

Butter - adds flavor to the cookies.
Important Note
To get the perfect blossom cookies, time is a crucial factor when placing the peppermint kisses. If you place it early, it will melt into a chocolate pool because of the heat from the cookies and the baking sheet. If you place it when the cookes are cool, the kisses won't stick to the cookies.
For best results every time, I place the kisses on the 4th minute mark from the time I remove the baking sheet our of the oven. Carefully and quickly place the kisses in the cookie.
Also, do not flatten the cookies before baking which will also result in imperfect shaped blossoms. You could use this tip for any blossom type cookies, Like Chocolate Peanut Butter Blossoms or Chocolate Blossom Cookies.
Storage
These are so addictive with the right amount of peppermint and hence it is always gone in a flash here. You can store them for 4-5 days at room temperature in an air tight container.
