    Strawberry Gochujang Dressing

    Jul 7, 2023 · 2 Comments

Are you looking for a healthy and vibrant salad dressing? This delicious  and creamy strawberry gochujang dressing with sweet and spicy flavors is the perfect choice. This can be whipped up in a couple of minutes.

This creamy Greek yogurt based strawberry and gochujang dressing has the unique flavor punch that kicks some bright and bold flavors in your salad. Ditch your usual boring dressing and try this dressing that adds a zing and raises the salad bowl to phenomenal flavors.

Plus, this dressing uses the fresh summer berry, strawberry. While munching a few berries for a healthy snack is an ideal choice, this fruit can also be used in Strawberry Spinach Salad, or in Strawberry Smoothie Bowl for a delicious breakfast, or in desserts like Strawberry Pie, Very Berry Lassi, Strawberry Shrikand. Strawberry can also be used in delicious vinaigrettes and this creamy and spicy yogurt based dressing with a beautiful color is never to be missed. This is also easy to make. So, these reasons will convince you to make this immediately.

I would say that this salad dressing is also nutritious as tons of fresh and juicy strawberries boasting vitamin C and antioxidants are used and Greek yogurt enhances the flavor profile with proteins and calcium. Therefore, a little drizzle of this dressing goes a long way in enhancing the flavor profile and nutrition profile of your salads.

To prepare this ultimate dressing the following ingredients are required.

Strawberries - Fresh strawberries work great, frozen can also be used.

Greek yogurt - Plain greek yogurt works best. Flavored ones will result in a very sweet dressing. Regular yogurt makes it runny, so prefer to use thich Greek yogurt.

Apple cider vinegar - Gives that fresh zing and depth of flavor.

    Salt - Adds flavor

Gochujang - Gochuang is a spicy red chilli paste with glutinous rice and fermented soy beans. This adds to the spicy heat giving that extra kick and punch.

Brown sugar - A little brown sugar balances the flavor.Garlic - Adds to the flavors.

What to serve with this dressing?

This creamy dressing can be used in many salads and sky's the limit. This can be served with some pita chips or flat breads, crunchy fruit, and crisp veggies and greens. Play around with different choices of greens and veggies, nuts, cheese  with a drizzle of this dressing.

Sometimes I mix and match the dressings that I use in my salad as variety always makes a difference to please myself and the whole family. In that context, I love to use this dressing with Strawberry Spinach Salad, Dal Sprouts Salad, and Grilled Nectarine and Feta Salad. This could be used in any way you think of to jazz up your salads.

    Storage

This strawberry gochujang dressing is SO tasty that we literally dunk our salad in this dressing. If there are leftovers, store in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
