You will need the following ingredients:
Paneer - Creamy and milky paneer gives the best flavors. For vegan option, use tofu instead.
Salt - gives flavor
Lime - Boosts the flavor with a tang!
Cilantro - Adds lovely herbaceous aroma and flavor.
Serrano pepper and cayenne - packs a punch of spicy flavor. You may adjust as per your heat tolerance.
Oil - rounds of the flavor while cooking.

Grilled Cilantro Lime Paneer
Ingredients
- 2.2 lb Paneer
Marinade
- 2 tbsp Oil
- ⅓ cup Lime juice
- ¾ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cayenne
- ½ cup Cilantro
- 2 tbsp Garlic chopped
- 1-1½ tsp Serrano pepper chopped
- ¾ tsp Cumin
Instructions
- For the marinade: Crush the cilantro, garlic, Serrano pepper, cumin and salt. To this add lemon juice and oil and whisk. Set aside.
- Cut the paneer to half inch block pieces. Arrange in a bowl. Pour marinade and mix to distribute evenly.
- Let in marinate for two to eight hours.
- Grill till golden color and beautiful mark, flip and cook. Baste with marinade, if necessary. This can be done in panini press too. Set the panini press on high heat and grill for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot with extra drizzle of marinade.
