These chocolate cashew coconut caramel stuffed parathas are delicious dessert parathas made with whole wheat flour, cashew flour, and caramel with a hint of cardamom. Serve this with caramel sauce or chocolate sauce for ultimate dessert paratha!
Why Chocolate Cashew Coconut caramel Paratha?
If you are wondering why this chocolate, cashew, coconut, caramel stuffed paratha, then the answer is because it is simply delicious! This is pretty much similar to Pooran Poli but way better. Why? These addictive parathas dessert parathas are made with whole wheat flour. But I added caramel sauce and cashew flour to the paratha dough mixture. This fortification yields a beautiful flavor base to the dough.
Moreover, the stuffing elevates the flavor to phenomenal heights. The nutty cashews and coconuts, along with semisweet and white chocolate, and caramel chews in every bite will speak the best dessert stories as they give a medley of simple and complex flavors in every bite. That's not it. The hint of cardamom is my huge favorite. Now, this would make anyone go for seconds easily.
Ingredients
Whole wheat flour - this is the base of the paratha. This provides wholesome nutrition and I always prefer only whole wheat flour for my parathas. I do not recommend mixing with all purpose flour as the nutrition profile will be lost.
Cashew flour - This adds nutty flavor to the paratha dough.
Caramel Sauce - Sweetens the dough but mildly. Serve with extra sauce on the side to dip or drizzle and serve for the most addictive dessert.
Salt - adds flavor
Water - to knead the dough. I always sprinkle water little by little and knead the dough.
Chocolate - semi-sweet and white chocolate chips are used. You can choose to use whatever type of chocolate chips you like.
Cashews - add to the proteins as well as nutty flavor.
Coconut - adds to the nutty flavor.
Cardamom - boosts flavor.
Caramel chews - I love caramel chews. Who doesn't. This adds to the extra sweetness as well as to the tiny bits of gooey experience. I would highly recommend cutting the caramel chews and then adding to the food processor. Else, they may not be of even size with the other stuffing ingredients and paratha rolling will be a challenging experience.
Ghee - I use homemade ghee always.Stor bought ghee can also be used for brushing the parathas while cooking. This enhances the flavor and aroma.
These crisp parathas make it a great choice to serve as wedges for any occasion. When served warm, the gooey gooey chocolatey carmelicious paratha with nutty coconut and cashews will make anyone forget everything else. These are great to serve for family or friends gatherings or for any day to make it extra special and fun. A couple of wedges will satisfy the sweet cravings you might have during late afternoons jolting you up with energy to push through the rest of the day.
Serving Suggestion
These parathas are divine to serve as such. However, these give the ultimate dessert experience when drizzled with caramel sauce and that is my favorite way of serving this paratha. Moreover, the options are endless as you can serve this with chocolate sauce too for chocolate lovers. For a tropical fun, serve with coconut sauce. That is my yet another favorite version to serve this.
Storage
The best about these parathas is that there is not wet ingredients and hence this makes it convenient to store them at room temperature for up to two days. I would highly recommend storing them in the refrigerator for a week. When needed, I warm them on a pan and serve with some caramel sauce.
Difficulty Level
Stuffed paratha making may be intimidating. But even a beginner can make this recipe. The step by step instruction in addition to the images help in mastering not just this paratha but any stuffed parathas like Tofu Paratha or Broccoli Cheddar Carrot Stuffed Paratha too.
Time Management
You shouldn't stop making parathas by thought that it may be time consuming. I cook the parathas simultaneously while I roll the other parathas. This helps in managing time and bringing the food to the table in an efficient manner.

I sometimes make sweet parathas using up leftover syrup from gulab jamuns and rasgollas. Love your recipe with cashew nut flour, coconut and caramel. Wow, simply irresistible.
