    Pesto Crescent Spirals

    Dec 26, 2021 · Leave a Comment

This is a super easy and very delicious appetizer for any occasion, or it can be a great side too! This is made with just two ingredients! Yes, TWO ingredients, and these two are pantry staples - Pillsbury Crescent rolls and basil pesto! Serve with marinara for dipping!

During this holiday season, there are million things that we try to do and hence prepping for parties should be a breeze. If you want a quick idea, this is a right choice! This will be ready in no tome. All you need is 5 minute prep time, 11 minute bake time. In about 15 minutes, you;ll be ready with sixteen servings! That's perfect for any occasion.

It is great touse fresh homemade asil pesto. I always keep Basil Pesto in fridge and this freezes well for six months too! Check that out and you wont need store-bought ones at all. Just in case, the recipe works with store-bought pesto too! Also, play around with different pesto to make different delicious versions of these spirals or pinwheels.ow that crescent rool may be a bit sweet, sprinkle with chili flakes to balance as per taste. Parmesan can also be sprinkled that adds a finishing touch.
Trust me, these will be gone that quick that there is no question for storing leftovers or freezing them. In fact, you'll be making second or third batch instead. Sprinkle a little parmesan and/or chili flakes for added flavor.

New Year is right around the corner and this season is always busy with many get togethers and parties. Crescent roll - 8-0z pack
    Pesto - 1/3 cup
    Method
Open and unwrap crescent rolls. Since these scored to cut easily, need to be fixed there. Just work with your fingers and seam the scored edges together.
Add the pesto and spread evenly leaving half-inch on the sides.Roll  length-wise. When completely rolled it will look like a log.

Cut into 16 equal sized pieces.

Arrange them into a baking sheet.

    Bake for 13-14 minutes.

Cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara on the side.
