Roasted chickpeas or garbanzos are protein-packed snacks. They are crisp with a nice crunch that gives complete satisfaction for crunchy snack cravings. They can be topped on salads or soups too. These are traditionally made by deep-frying. Roasting them in the oven gives a few benefits over deep frying. Very little oil is used when compared to deep frying. Also, we need to multi-task most of the days, and dedicating time completely for deep frying may be difficult. Roasting it in the oven helps us save time and complete a couple of more tasks that we are always lined up with. Just stir every 10 minutes, that's all. With minimal prep time, a delicious and crunchy snack will be ready. Pack it in small containers or pouches to take it on the go. This goes perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea.
