    Stovetop Spicy Sweet Potatoes

    Nov 4, 2022 · 11 Comments

These are delicious, vegan sweet potatoes that cane be made quickly on the stovetop. The sweet and spicy flavor combinations in this curry makes this just out of the world. This is a great Thanksgiving side as well as a great one to make any day.

This is one of the sweet potato curry that I enjoyed as a child. The sweet and spicy flavors are awesome together. The mustard and the asafetida give added flavor making a delicious medley of flavors. This can be served as a great side. This pairs well with any meal plan. With cooked grains or flatbreads, this makes a meal complete with tons of flavors and nutrition. I make this curry often as a side, and these cutlets are also a great option for starters or snacks.

Holidays are the time when the oven is working on full swing mode. The oven is needed for everything on the menu from appetizer to dessert. A recipe that is easy to make when the oven is overworking would be a blessing. This stovetop sweet potatoes are easy and quick to make. This would be loved by everyone and the cayenne can be adjusted to suit your taste palette. Make it for this holiday season and this will be on your menu always, even for a regular day.

Great side dish without taking up the room we need in the oven. These could probably be made in an instant pot as well, freeing up stove space.
