    Thai Tea Icecream

    Jul 16, 2021 · 10 Comments

Thai Tea Ice cream is a creamy frozen dessert, which is perfect for the season, is made with Thai tea. You would totally fall in love with the bold color and flavor of this ice cream. When the temperature shoots up, this frozen tea ice cream would be perfect and refreshing.
I have had this ice cream in T4 with coffee jelly and mochi toppings. Addictive flavor! But the ice cream has crystals in it. For a perfect creamy texture, I use more heavy cream. This gives the perfect creamy texture that I love. This can be made with four ingredients - Thai tea, water, heavy cream, and condensed milk. Once the tea is made, just mix everything and churn, freeze. That easy!

You Scream, I Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream! Yes! What else can help us chill off the summer. We are celebrating National Ice Cream Day in our #FestiveFoodies and I am hosting this event. Join us for celebrating #NationalIcecreamDay with wonderful flavors of ice cream perfect for the summer.

This ice cream has a different flavor profile like the Caramel Popcorn Cluster Icecream. I love these ice creams just like our regular fruit based Mango Icecream or Musk Melon Ice Cream. Check out these recipes for yummy frozen desserts.
    Ingredients
    Thai tea - 1/2 cup
    Water - 1 and 1/4 cup
    Heavy cream - 2 cups
    Condensed milk - 1 can
    Method
Boil water and add the Thai tea. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and set aside to steep for 20 minutes.

Filter and discard the leaves. Press or squeeze depending on the filter you use to get the maximum quantity of tea about 3/4 cups.

Add the heavy cream, condensed milk, and tea to a blender and blend it till everything is combined well and smooth.

Add the tea-cream mixture to pre-frozen ice cream bowl.

Churn for 20 minutes till it attained the ice cream consistency.

Transfer to an ice cream container which is freezer safe.

Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
This can be served with coffee jelly and mochi, or even boba toppings too.

Wow this is gorgeous ice cream! I love the unique flavor and creamy texture! I feel like this would be good with chopped pistachios for added crunch.
