The chocolate banana smoothie bowl is a delicious and satisfying bowl perfect for a hot day. Smoothie bowls are "the choice" for us during summer. It gives nutrients and at the same time helps to cool off on a hot day. Plus, this gives a break from standing near the stove or cranking up the oven.
This bowl is vegan. I have used almonds, almond milk, plant-based protein powder which gives enough nourishment satisfying hunger. There is no sweetener added. Apples and bananas and the topping fruits give enough vitamins for the body. The oats added gives fiber too. For a chocolate lover, this is a must-try. This is in fact a very healthy breakfast.
This is my post for #ImprovCookingChallenge. Nichole gave the two ingredients for this month - Chocolate and Banana. Chocolates and bananas are great ingredients and innumerable things that can be made with these two ingredients. Bread, muffins, pancake puffs, pancakes, cakes, crepes, cookies, fried desserts, turnovers, dessert tacos, ice creams, flavored yogurt, parfaits, oatmeal..... you name it and it can be done with these two ingredients. I love fruits and would go for smoothie bowls often. This recipe is vegan and very healthy. We enjoyed having this and thought to post this for this event.
The #ImprovCookingChallenge is a monthly blogging event where two ingredients are assigned to a month. Bloggers can make any recipe they like as long as it features the two ingredients. If you are a blogger and would like to join us, please visit our Facebook page. You can also read more about the event on our our home page.
This is vegan. Use any kind of milk that you prefer. I love to add coconut flakes. My kids love chocolate chips. Play around with toppings too to make yummy snack bowl or breakfast or a summer meal.
