This is a simple, tasty, quick, and fruit loaded lassi aka yogurt smoothie! This is a refreshing drink to beat the heat and is made with just three ingredients!
This peach lassi is simple and easy to prepare and fun to drink. It takes about 5-10 minutes to make this. All you need to make this refreshing lassi are peaches, yogurt, and sugar. I prefer to use chilled and fresh homemade yogurt. Store-bought yogurt can also be used. Vanilla flavored yogurt can give another dimension to this lassi. The quantity of sugar depends on the sweetness of the fruit used. The peaches were so sweet that there was no need to add a lot of sugar. Adjust the sugar according to your taste and fruit used. Once you have all these, just blend them together and enjoy your refreshing drink.
Lassi is a sweet yogurt drink, and fruits can also be added. Mango Lassi, made with fresh mangoes, is a family favorite. I love to use fresh seasonal fruits to make different lassi like Guava Lassi, Very Berry Lassi. Sometimes, I go out of the way and try very new versions. I love apple pie so much that I made this delicious Caramel Apple Pie Lassi, which went into our favorite list.
Peaches are one of the fruits that I love to buy at the farmer's market during summer time. My kids love to taste all the plum, peach, and nectarine varieties and we come back home with a load of these stone fruits. As much as I love to make the stone fruits into pies and crisps, I munch on them fresh and make smoothies out of it. This yogurt smoothie is the best! This week we are celebrating Farer's Market Week!
