Cheesy Tomato and White Bean Dip

    Jan 2, 2022 · 3 Comments

This is a simple, easy, and tasty bean dip! Cheesy too! Who wouldn't love a warm cheesy dip in this weather? This is a crowd pleaser and is amazing for any gatherings, perfect for gameday!  Serve with slices of baguette for a perfect appetizer! Beans are protein rich and this recipe makes a scrumptious dip, quite filling too. This is a great snack style meal too!
This is made with three main kitchen staples - white beans, crushed tomatoes, and mozarella cheese other than garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and chili flakes. If you are using dried beans, plan to soak overnight or for 8 hours, cook them and then use in the recipe. Canned ones help in making this dip even in the last minute!
All you need is couple of minutes prep time, 5 minutes cook time, and 2 minute broiling time! That quick it is! This is the ultimate, easy, and super delicious in making as well as taste-wise too! I prefer to do this in a cast-iron pan as it is easy to cook in stove-top and transfer the pan as such into the oven for broiling.
Sliced mozzarella cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese are used in this recipe. The measurements are perfect that it is neither too cheesy nor skimpy. Adjust as per preference. Also, according to taste requirements adjust the chili flakes. Fresh basil leaves are an amazing add-ons too!

This recipe is one of our family favorites. Christie of A Kitchen Hoor's Adventure is hosting an event in our #OurFamilyTable  group and we are featuring beans. Beans are always amazing as a side and provide excellent proteins.  We share recipes From Our Dinner Table! Join our group and share your recipes, too!
