Black Bean and Cheetos Crunch Wrap

    Mar 5, 2021 · 3 Comments

Crunch wraps are loved by many of us. They are filling, crunchy satisfying, and delicious. It has everything you want in it. This crunch wrap that I am sharing today has Cheetos. These can be made with what you have in hand. Flaming hot, regular Cheetos, or any variety can be used for the crunch.
Most of us may have these at home as snacks, and these might elevate a simple meal to a different level. I have used black beans for the protein part. Taco seasoning can be used or use a mixture of cumin, oregano, and cayenne if you don't have it in hand.
If you are lazy, still you can enjoy this. Just rinse and drain the black beans, add them to tortilla, sprinkle with taco seasoning, and make the crunch wrap. This will be equally tasty!
Cheese doodles or Cheetos or any variety of these snacks so yum that it is addictive. They are fun and leave a characteristic orange color on your fingers. They are not just for snacking as such. They give a wide range of ideas to make anything with them. Erin Of The Spiffy Cookie is hosting the #NationalCheeseDoodleDay. To celebrate National Cheese Doodle Day, we are sharing recipes that use either cheese sticks, puffs, or balls. I am linking the crunch wrap recipe to this event.

    Ingredients

    Makes 4
    Tortilla - 4, 12-in
    Tortilla - 4, 6-in
    Cheetos - 2 cups
    Nacho cheese - 1/3 to 1/2 cup
    Sour cream - 4 tbsp
    Shredded lettuce - 1 cup
    Black beans - 1 can
    Onions - 1/4 cup
    Garlic - 1
    Cayenne - 1/3 tsp
    Cumin powder - 1/3 tsp
    Cilantro - 2 tsp
    Oil - 2 tsp

    Method

Heat oil. Sauté the onions and garlic till the onions become transparent. Add black beans followed by salt, cayenne, oregano, cumin powder, or use taco seasoning. Stir fry for 3 minutes till they absorb the flavors. Set aside.
Heat the tortillas on the pan or in the microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable. Take a 12-in tortilla. Spread the sour cream. Add the bean mixture. Drizzle a little nacho cheese. Add lettuce and tomatoes. Add the Cheetos. Sprinkle cilantro and top it with a 6-in tortilla. Fold in the edges of the bigger tortilla over the smaller one resulting in a circular or hexagonal shape. Repeat with the rest.
Heat a skillet, drizzle oil (optional), and keep the folded side facing down and toast it till it gets a little crisp. Flip and continue to cook the other side. Cook the rest of the wraps too.
    Serve immediately
