Slow Cooker Sago Kheer

This slow cooker sago kheer is silky, creamy, comforting dessert rich in texture with a touch of cardamom, saffron, nuts.

Ingredients

  • cup Sago/tapioca pearls 
  • cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • cup Condensed milk
  • 1 pinch Saffron
  • 1 pinch Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp Pistachios sliced or chopped
  • 1 tsp Ghee melted

Instructions

  • Add the melted ghee first to the slow cooker. Add the tapioca pearls followed by milk and water. Set it on low for 4 hours.
  •  After 3 hours and 45 minutes, stir. The sago pearls would have cooked beautifully.
  • Add the saffron, cardamom powder, and condensed milk. Stir and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
  • Give a stir, transfer to serving bowl.
  • Garnish with pistachios. Serve hot, warm, or chilled.
