Cheese Stuffed Garlic Rolls

These cheese stuffed garlic rolls are soft, golden rolls bursting with gooey cheese with a generous buttery garlic spread and baked to perfection!

Ingredients

For the bread

  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 6 tbsp Butter room temperature
  • 1 cup Milk warm
  • tbsp Sugar
  • tsp Salt
  • tsp Active dry yeast

For garlic cheese stuffing

  • 2 tbsp Butter room temperature
  • 54 chunks cheese, pepper jack or cheddar 1-in cubes
  • 1 tsp Parsley dried
  • 3 tbsp Cilantro/parsley chopped
  • 4 tbsp garlic finely chopped

For garlic butter brushing

  • 2 tbsp Butter room temperature
  • 1 tbsp Parley/Cilantro finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Parley dried
  • tsp Parmesan Grated
  • 2 tsp Garlic finely chopped

Instructions

  • Activate the yeast. Add the ingredients listed under bread into the bread machine and set it on dough cycle until it doubles in size. This can be dome manually too.
  • In the meantime, mix the butter, garlic, parsley, cilantro in a bowl to make the garlicky cheese filling.
  • Add this to the cheese cubes and coat well. Set aside.
  • Once the dough has doubled in size, punch and knead the dough. Divide it inot 18 equal portions.
  • Take a portion of dough and gently roll into a 4-inch disc. Place 3 cubes of cheese. Gather the ends and close the seam.
  • Repeat with all the dough portions and place the seam side down on a 13x9 baking dish. Cover and let it for 40 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  • Brush with milk. Bake for 22-23 min.
  • In the meantime, combine the ingredients listed under brushing.
  • Remove the rolls from the oven, generously brush the cheese-garlic-butter mixture and bake for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and cool slightly.
  • Serve warm with soups, pasta, and salads.
